ALEXIS' 3RD BIRTHDAY PARTY :)

Okay so I'm giving everyone a 2 week notice to mark your calendars! Alexis is turning 3 years old on July 9th :) I can't even believe it! We aren't completely sure what we are going to be doing for the party, we have a few different ideas and haven't decided.. But we know it is going to be on Saturday July 11th. We aren't completely sure about the time either.. But it will be around 3 or 4 probably. So far that is the time that will work best for people that have text me back.. If there is anyone that would like to come, but that time doesn't work, please give us some feedback! I'd love to have as many friends and family as possible, because last year she didn't really get to have a fun party or friends.. So we want to make it really fun for her! I am going to let everyone know as soon as we decide on what we are going to be doing for sure.. We are just trying to think of what will be funnest for the kids. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. Has anyone had a birthday party anywhere specific that turned out really good? Okay well I'll let everyone know, but just make sure to keep that date open! Thanks guys :)

Hello Everyone!

Ok so this is a cool idea.....good job Summer! I also have my own blog so if you would like an invite to view that as well, just email me at smbroaddus@hotmail.com. I put more pictures on that site and a little more detailed info. I know I don't have everyone's emails either so this will be a cool way to stay in touch. A few things are going on with us.....
I guess first is Levi is doing extremely better with the medication that the pediatrician gave him and he has been a lot happier, however he has now discovered already that mom is the only one he wants and I rarely get anything done around the house. he doesn't sleep unless I'm holding him or sniggled up against him and if he does give me a break, he still has to be able to see me....so needless to say it's a disaster. But he is now 2 1/2 months old, probaby close to 10lbs. if not more, and even though he's a little clingy to me, we all enjoy him so very much and he has been a great blessing to our family.

Aria is doing well, she has been playing t-ball this last month and I have been the team's coach. She rarely plays more than an inning but on her game on Tuesday she discovered how much fun it was to get the ball in the outfield, so at today's game I actually had to go and pick her up and carry her to the backstop so that she could bat. She wanted to stay out in the field with the other team jsut so she could have a crack at getting the ball again...it was WAY cute. She also batted by herself today, usually I help her a little but she's getting better. Then during the last time in the field she started crying becuase all of the boys were getting the ball and kinda kept running over her so they all were checking to see if she was ok and then they all made a little pact to let her get the ball or if they got it to give it to her so she could throw it to first base. It was adorable, sad or bad that she can already get those boys to do what she wants.....I'm in SOO MUCH TROUBLE!!! The sad thing is it's over next week and she's just now getting into it. But I guess there's always next year! She's also enrolled in a summer reading program at the local library. We haven't had a chance to go and participate yet becuase of t-ball but after that ends we will be. She's going to be starting preschool in August as well. She is very excited and the teacher is a lady in our ward that she already really likes so it will hopefully be an easier transition. She's also a great help to me with Levi and just general stuff around the house. She helps me do dishes, washes the toilet and bathrooms, and does just about anything I ask her to, usually without any complaining, She's my little baby girl angel from Heaven and i'd be lost without her help.

Justin is still working at the underground mine, but we are holding out and hoping something better comes along, but are making due while we are here in Monticello. We all really like it here (well Aria wants to move back to Ticaboo with endless talk about it and crying to go home), but it would definitely be easier to be back up nort by everyone...I mean everyone gets here and we have to move again! But yea Justin is having a great time everyday practically reminding me that I am OOO SO OLD now and that I'm always going to be older than him so he enjoys that. We also get to go hiking a lot. I'm excited to sare another father's day with my wonderful husband and now we get to share it with another beautiful child.

I have been busy, naturally! Like I said I don't get much done with Levi's needs and clinginess, but I have started a project of re-finishing a kitchen table and 5 chairs. It's going fairly well. I bought it off the internet for really cheap and I've got almost all of it sanded down and just gotta get the rest of the paint for it. Man after sanding for 3 days, it took a few days for my hands to stop tingling, but it's been fun. I've also just been using my cricut machine and cutting out vinyl and decorating the house and i love being able to be artsy and crafty. I am also trying to get into photography some and starting to get props and see where it takes me....I've always wanted to and even though we don't really have the ability to do it all at one, I'm gonna try. I love being a mom to these two beautiful angels and being able to be home still so thank you Justin! I love you!
Love you and miss you all. Stay in touch! Much love, with lots of hugs and kisses!

P.S. I know my mom's not really good at this....lol...so Trevor graduated last month and I'm so proud of him! Good job Trevor. i love You!
